It is dedicated to working closely with families to help children lead meaningful, happy lives filled with opportunity and choice. Ashtree Values

At Ashtree Primary Academy, the principles of knowledge, aspiration and respect are woven into all aspects of school life. As a vibrant and inclusive community, the academy believes that fostering these values creates a nurturing environment in which students are encouraged to grow, thrive and become engaged, responsible members of society. By respecting individuality and embracing diversity, Ashtree empowers its pupils to contribute positively to their world and reach their full potential.

The Team

The close-knit team at Ashtree Primary Academy incorporates dedicated professionals united by their commitment to providing the highest possible standard of support and care to pupils and a passion for education. The academy’s leadership team has a proven track record of success and a wealth of experience, and all of the school’s teachers are highly skilled and qualified within their fields. A team of experienced support staff works alongside teachers, fostering a powerful sense of community. The school is supported by the charity Future Academies, of which Lord John Nash is the chair of the board of trustees.

Ashtree Outcomes

Since opening as a new school in January 2025, Ashtree Primary Academy has continually worked to support pupils to achieve high grades. The school is proud of the results achieved in 2025, which included 95% of pupils passing the Year One Phonics Screening check – this compares to the national rate of 80%. Furthermore, 80% of pupils achieved a Good Level of Development in the Early Years, compared to 60% nationally, while 41% of pupils passed the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check, compared to 34% of pupils nationally in 2024.

Enrichment Opportunities

Enrichment is at the heart of the Ashtree Primary Academy offering. Opportunities include clubs and activities, sports, music, wraparound care and school trips. In terms of the latter, the school thoughtfully plans a range of educational visits, each aiming to spark children’s enthusiasm for learning. Visits are designed to develop pupils’ understanding of the wider world and build skills and knowledge. Visitors – such as faith leaders, firefighters and police officers – are also regularly invited into the school to share their experiences with pupils.
